Matthew holds a BSc from the University of British Columbia, Canada and is a Certified Financial Planner (Singapore). He speaks fluent Mandarin and English and has a good understanding of Malay and Japanese cultures.
Matthew's career with the Royal Bank of Canada spans 16 years. He spent 10 years in Vancouver, Canada, initially concentrating on commercial lending. He joined Private Banking in 1990 where his focus was wealth management for high net worth clients from Asia. Matthew has been based in Singapore for the last 5 years as Deputy Regional Head of Sales. In his new role as General Manager, Royal Bank of Canada, Brunei Darussalam Branch he specializes in developing business for high net worth clients from South East Asia, in addition to overseeing the operations of the RBC Brunei Darussalam Branch.

Suhaila holds an MSc in Fund Management from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia and a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick in the UK. She speaks fluent English and Malay.
Suhaila is now Assistant Manager of the Royal Bank of Canada, Brunei Darussalam Branch. In this role her focus is in the branch's operations as well as to work with the General Manager in the business development for the branch's high net worth clients in South East Asia.
