Adobe Acrobat is the Internet standard for viewing and printing graphically rich documents on the Web. Adobe Acrobat documents are called "PDFs" (short for Portable Document Format). This format is very popular and you will most likely come across many other web sites that make use of this technology. To view these documents on your computer, you must download and install "Acrobat Reader" software on your computer. A link to download this software can be found below.
PDF files can be viewed "in-line", which means they can be viewed on-line within your browser window by means of a "plug-in" which is installed along with the Acrobat Reader. PDF files can also be downloaded to your hard disk and saved for later viewing or printing. To do this, "right-click" on the link to the PDF file and use the pop-up menu to save the file to disk in a folder of your choice.
